In the future, Interdist Alliances will continue to invest in industry leading solutions that enable our partners to respond quickly to changing market dynamics, whilst continuing to provide real Added Value to the channel.Interdist Alliances are looking for a talented and highly motivated resource to join our Ghana team as a technical sales person for our IBM Systems business.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A bright and driven individual with a passion for technology
- Natural problem solver with good customer etiquette always motivated by selling a business solutions instead of product
- Excellent communication skills to both a technical and business audience
- Confident customer facing individual, capable of engaging at all levels with previous experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of IBM systems and business solutions
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written with the ability to translate technical thoughts into everyday language
- Responsible for selling IBM Hardware solutions to attain set targets and KPIs
- Knowledge and capability to use IBM configuration and pricing tools with a good understanding of IBM processes
- Covering all aspects of IBM hardware pre-sales required to prepare a proposal including systems design, sizing and capacity planning, connectivity and interoperability with other product platforms and answering RFP/RFQ/RFI's
- Take ownership of all aspects of the technical sales process from beginning to end
- Technical enablement of business partners/customers in collaboration with the sales team
- Become a trusted advisor to business partners and prospective customers & develop effective relationships with key decision makers at all corporate levels
- Provide compelling presentations and demonstrations of IBM solutions
- Maintain frequent communication with internal management teams, as well as the business partners and IBM in-country team
- Solid understanding of IBM hardware solutions with a learning mindset to keep up with advances in IBM technology and attain the requisite IBM certification and training
